Avolition is a psychological state characterized by general lack of desire, drive, or motivation to pursue meaningful goals.

My idea was to create an automated counseling session in which humans are neither the psychologist nor the patient. The displaced spectator eavesdrops a very strange conversation between two computers as they try to speak about their "problems" to each other.
This installation consists of two computers both running a custom program derived from the popular ELIZA - a primitive natural language processing software.
One computer respondes to the other's comment through a text to sound convertion software.

This sytem is constantly generating new dialogue, below is a short example of what is produced:
